Artist Collective Kunst (Taiteilijakollektiivi Kunst) was founded in spring 2013. It is a cooperative unit focused on contemporary art, and a group of art activists Christina Holmlund, Pia Paldanius, Sirpa Päivinen, Anu Suhonen and Julia Weckman. We make contemporary performative exhibitions and artistic interventions and also curatorial art projects. We curated and coordinated Gallery Lapinlahti, the exhibition space for contemporary art in a former mental hospital in Helsinki during the years 2016-2019. In Gallery Lapinlahti we organized both open call and curated exhibitions focused in contemporary art in all mediums.
Arts promotion centre Uusimaa Finland awarded Artist Collective Kunst in 2018.
